Short version: Use Fortis fairly, pay for your subscription, and understand it's a fitness tracking tool — not medical advice. You can cancel any time.
By creating an account or using Fortis, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. These terms apply to all users of Fortis.
Fortis is a personal fitness tracking application that allows users to log workouts, track strength progress, set goals, and analyse training data. Fortis is provided as a web application and, in future, as a mobile application.
You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use Fortis.
We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms or that have been inactive for an extended period, with reasonable notice where possible.
New accounts receive a 30-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start your trial. At the end of the trial period, a subscription is required to continue using the service.
Fortis offers two subscription plans:
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time — cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period and you retain access until then.
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Prices are in USD and may be subject to local taxes.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from within the app. There are no cancellation fees. Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis — contact support@gymtrack.co if you believe you are owed a refund.
You own your data. The workout logs, goals, and other content you create in Fortis remain yours. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app (Insights → Account → Delete account).
By using Fortis, you grant us a limited licence to store and process your data for the purpose of providing the service.
You agree not to:
Fortis is a fitness tracking tool, not a medical or healthcare service. Nothing in the app — including workout suggestions, volume targets, or progress data — constitutes medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting or changing a fitness programme, especially if you have any health conditions or injuries.
We aim to keep Fortis available and working well, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, modify, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. In the event we shut down Fortis entirely, we will provide at least 30 days notice and offer pro-rated refunds for annual subscribers.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fortis is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes by email or in-app notification. Continued use of Fortis after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
For any questions about these terms, contact us at support@gymtrack.co.
